Our one-on-one approach identifies talent from top to bottom.
If one phrase could describe our approach to uncovering each organization's Talent Equation it's "one-on-one.” From top to bottom, front office to back office, we investigate, identify, quantify and assess talent one individual at a time.
The result is a rigorous and collaborative investigation and analysis that produces a detailed picture of the organization’s strengths and weaknesses, potential and existing talent, and builds the proper assessment tools for identifying, developing and sustaining talent.
First, we learn about the organization's business strategy and direction so that the entire effort at identifying critical competencies is aligned with strategy and direction. Once strategy and direction are integrated into the design of the initiative, positions to be looked at are identified. The entire scope of the project, including deliverables, deadlines, key milestones and follow through are clearly spelled out.
A research team is assembled and collaborative relationships with the organization are delineated before the collection of the data begins. In one-on-one interviews, information on past and present performance is gathered from of below-average, average and above-average performers creating a three-dimensional picture in time of the critical competencies under consideration.
This one-on-one, collaborative and three-dimensional approach delivers the total picture needed to delineate which competencies (talent) are critical for success and create the assessment tools needed to measure them.
